This page was created to specifically discuss the Powerblock Adjustable Dumbbells. I will be discussing all of the various adjustable dumbbells offered by Powerblock, along with other accessories that you can also purchase for your dumbbells. Note: Each product will be briefly discussed. Complete reviews of each dumbbell will be available, and I will post links to them at the end of the summaries below. If the links aren't yet available, the pages the links go to have not yet been created.

1) Introduction To Short Reviews: For the short reviews of each dumbbell, I will post some of their features, their overall rating on Amazon, along with my opinion. Again, for more information on each, be sure to click the link after each short review.

1a) PowerBlock SportBlock 24 Adjustable 3 to 24-Pounds per Dumbbell Set:

Who would've known that Powerblock created a 24 pound adjustable dumbbell? I had no clue, but they definitely have. This adjustable dumbbell has the ability to be adjusted in weight between 3 to 24 pounds, in 3 pound increments. Like all Powerblock dumbbells, this set comes with an insert pin that let's you easily change weight amount. Based off 36 reviews, these dumbbells received an average 4.5 out of 5 star rating, with only 1 review being under 3 stars.

I recommend these dumbbells for anybody looking to lift a very light amount of weight. Even if you're an extremely skinny dude or gal, you will be surprised at how quickly you'll grow in strength. If you train properly, you will quickly outgrow these dumbbells, which is why I recommend one of the next few sets that I am about to discuss. 1b) PowerBlock Classic Adjustable 5 to 45-Pounds per Dumbbell Set:

I was also unfamiliar with the 45 pound weight before today. But unlike the dumbbell above, this one features the ability to change weight between 5 and 45 pounds, in 5 pound increments. Also, the selector pin allows you to quickly and easily change weight. Based off of 48 customer reviews, these dumbbells averaged a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, with the lowest rating being 3 stars.

If you're a smaller guy or gal, these could definitely be a great pair of dumbbells for you. I am 6 feet tall - 155 pounds. I am following a home workout program, and I rarely have to use anything more than 45 pounds. If you're a stronger guy or gal, you will likely quickly outgrow these, if you haven't already. Again, I would go for something further down the page. For a more detailed review, check out Powerblock Classic 45 Pound Adjustable Dumbbells.

1c) PowerBlock Personal Trainer Adjustable 2.5 to 50-Pounds per Dumbbell Set:

This is the set of Powerblock Dumbbells that I own. Giving you the ability to adjust weight from 2.5 pounds to 50 pounds is pretty cool. But note: Pin selection adjusts weight by 5 pound increments. 14 customer reviews also gave this dumbbell a 4.5 out of 5 star rating, with no rating lower than 4 stars.

This is another great set of dumbbells for a smaller guy or gal. Again, if you're already curling 35 pounds and shoulder pressing 50, you'll probably want to purchase heavier weights. For a more detailed review, check out Powerblock Personal Trainer 50 Pound Adjustable Dumbbells.

1d) PowerBlock Personal Plus 20 to 60-Pounds per Dumbbell Set

What an awkward dumbbell. In fact, I almost left it off the list altogether. If for whatever reason, you're looking for a dumbbell that can adjust between 20 and 60 pounds, this is the set for you. Pin selection is also available, and weight can be adjusted in 5 pound increments.

This dumbbell isn't really great for anybody that I am aware of. Unless you can lift more than 20 pounds on all exercises (think about the shoulder fly exercise), then these dumbbells are not right for you. You're definitely better off with downgrading or upgrading to the next level. Regardless, these dumbbells did receive a 4.5 out of 5 star average rating, based off of 4 customer reviews. 1e) PowerBlock Elite 90 Adjustable 5 to 90-Pounds per Dumbbell Set

For stronger individuals, this is probably your best option. Most people I know will not outgrow 90 pound adjustable dumbbells, unless your home gym includes a bench press. This is a great piece of equipment. Weight can be adjusted between 5 and 90 pounds, in 5 pound increments. 11 customers gave this product an average 5 out of 5 star rating, with 1 reviewer giving this product a 4 star rating.

This is great for anyone who is looking to become UFC strong. If you're an individual looking to grow muscles on your muscle, this is a great pair of dumbbells that you will probably never outgrow. Even if you did outgrow them, people don't make more than 90 pound adjustable dumbbells, anyway. These are the heaviest adjustable dumbbells on the market. 1f) PowerBlock Personal Dumbbell Set Stand:

I am assuming that this Powerblock stand works for all adjustable dumbbells. Because of the price, I really don't find it necessary. (I just put my dumbbells on the ground.) But if you plan on selecting max weights with the pin, the stand will definitely make it easier to do so. If you have the money, I definitely recommend the stand. If you don't, don't sweat it. For a more detailed review, check out the Powerblock Stand page.

Also, be sure to see other adjustable dumbbells by list of companies.
